Trance

El Trance es un subgénero dentro de la música electrónica, compuesto por sonidos sintéticos, acordes largos con ataque y caída lentos, atmósferas, arpegios, en ocasiones sonidos ácidos, base rítmica de percusión y graves y melodías muy elaboradas.

Suele tener una frecuencia de percusión mayor de 130 BPM, las melodías son largas y evolucionan a lo largo del tiempo. Es habitual la polifonía.

En la composición de este estilo de música se suelen utilizar diversos efectos acústicos, como el eco, la reverberación, la distorsión, el flanger, el delay y el filtrado. Estos efectos son aplicados a los acordes, a la melodía y a la percusión.

El Trance tiene varias ramas, entre ellas esta el Progressive Trance, este es un subgénero con ritmos y plugs más lentos que el Trance puro, se caracteriza por tener progresiones y percusiones constantes, En la mayoría del Progressive Trance el Beat o Bombo que utiliza es tomado del Psytrance, también conocido como Goa Trance. Otras ramas del Trance son el Uplifting Trance, que actualmente es el que más nos recuerda a los sonidos añejos, algunos artistas que se podrían acercar al Uplifting son Above & Beyond, Mike Koglin y Jonas Steur.

También existen ramas más fuertes como el Hardtrance y el Tech Trance, básicamente el Hard Trance es una rama con percusión muy ruda, melodías que pueden ser muy llamativas y de tipo club. bajos chispiantes y rudos igual, en cambio; el Tech Trance se caracteriza por presentar percusión muy bien trabajada y melodías euforicas, que causan presencia en una pista de baile, sus iniciadores son Nic Chagal y DJ Bosi, conocidos como el dúo Cosmic Gate. Otros artistas de esta misma corriente son Martin Roth, Jesselyn, Vadim Zhukov entre otros. Otras ramas del trance son el Acid Trance, caracterizado por sonidos Trance con melodías acidas y con efectos de filtrado y delay, su representante más conocido es Kai Tracid. El Goa Trance o Psytrance, con sonidos muy psicodélicos y muy penetrantes, existen varios artistas reconocidos como Astral Projection, Protoculture, 1200 Micrograms y por supuesto Infected Mushroom.

Cabe mencionar que los inicios del Trance se remontan también con el inicio del Psychedelic, con sus padres iniciales electrónicos Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Jean Michel Jarre, entre otros.

Hoy en día el Trance ha evolucionado y sus sonidos provenientes de Modernas Computadoras y Software Especializado, ha alcanzado un alto grado de percepción de sonidos.

Uno de los pioneros de la música trance actual es Paul Van Dyk, la canción llamada Forbidden Fruit es una de las primeras canciones de este género. En esta canción se puede encontrar la forma basica del Trance, relacionada con sonidos repetitivos con caídas lentas.

Actualmente el Trance es expuesto ante escenarios grandes, con luces robotizadas y sobre todo con los mejores Artistas Trance como son Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Sean Tyas, Above & Beyond, Static Blue, Ferry Corsten, M.I.K.E., Johan Gielen, Menno de Jong, Psypsiq Jicuri, Jonas Steur entre otros.

David Guetta (nacido el 7 de noviembre de 1967 en París) es un DJ francés de musica electrónica, especializado en producir música house.

Desde la temprana edad de 13 años, comienza a mezclar sus primeros vinilos. Con 17 años, trabaja como Dj en el Broad, lanzando su carrera. Entre 1988 y 1990, mezcla house en la Radio Nova.

Con su estilo club dance/house, sus primeros hits europeos fueron "Money" y "Just a little more love".

En 2005, con su single "The World Is Mine" alcanza el número uno en las listas dance por toda Europa y le vuelve conocido por el gran público por un anuncio de gomina de l’Oréal, donde es el actor principal.

El 13 de agosto de 2005 participó en el Festival español de Creamfields, donde también participaban The Chemical Brothers y Carl Cox entre otros
